"Mining Journal of Kryvyi Rih National University" is an open-access peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes original research, review and theoretical articles, and even technical notes by authors from different countries on a wide range of subjects. The purpose of the journal is to cover modern scientific research and the results of the main areas of research activity of the entire scientific community. The journal publishes materials in the following fields of knowledge: surface and underground mining, geodesy, mine surveying, geology and mineralogy, metallurgy, mineral processing. In addition, materials on occupational health and safety, project and programme management, and even construction are considered for publication if they are related to mining or metallurgy. More about this in the section Aims and Scope.

History of the publication: The journal was founded in 1966. The first issue was published in print in Russian under the title "Development of Ore Deposits" in 1967. In 2012, the name was changed to the current one - "Mining Journal of Kryvyi Rih National University". Since the same year, electronic versions of the journal have been published, which can be found on the Archive page.
